Joyce was one of my favorite cousins. Although we both grew up on Long Island, I came to know her best after she moved to California in her early twenties. Joyce and I double dated, went on ski trips together, and we each married within a week of one another. Joyce was a wonderful hostess--often inviting family members to her lovely home--for a swim and dinner. Our daughters were born about six months apart--and Joyce loaned many of her lovely maternity clothes. I have a treasure trove of good memories of my lovely cousin.

Does anyone remember the rocking horse? Joyce gave it to me back in the 60's, said her daughters no longer enjoyed it. We were in Greenbrae on Manor Road. I've always remembered Joyce, lovely lady, was a bit jealous of the beautiful black hair.
