Lawrence Aaron Lindberg

Lawrence Aaron Lindberg Oct. 2, 1925 - Feb. 23, 2015 Lawrence Lindberg passed peacefully in his home on Orcas Island, WA, surrounded by his family. Larry lived and worked in Marin County during the 1960s and 70s with his wife Barbara Whitehead Lindberg LeCount and their children, Arne and Helen Lindberg. Larry's education career in Marin included; developing advancements in curriculum requirements, outdoor education, and teacher pay. While living in Marin he enjoyed boating on the Bay, and skiing in the Sierras. Following his role as Superintendent of Sausalito School District, he returned to Washington, accepting a position as Supt. of Snoqualmie School District. Larry retired after moving to Orcas Island, as Supt. of Orcas Island School District. He is survived by his wife Heidi Lindberg, her children Kristin Palmer (Don), and Peter Sternkopf (Teri); grandchildren Sarah Palmer, and Payden, Nolen, and Ryen Sternkopf. He is also survived by the mother of his children Barbara Whitehead Lindberg LeCount, their children Arne Lindberg (Anne), and Helen Lindberg (Tom Kunhardt); grandchildren Anson and Ava Lindberg, and Vanessa Kunhardt Bell and Ursula Kunhardt.
