He was a force of nature and built a beautiful little world at your house on Fairway Drive. Running a marathon, the Dipsea, swimming in the SF Bay at 6 a.m. -- some of the most exhilarating experiences I've ever had have been in that world. He was always encouraging people to transcend themselves, even on his license plate -- TRYNOW. A privilege to have known him and your family.

My deepest condolences to the family of Dr. Witter. He was my one-time dentist when I used to live in SF. May he rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon him.

My condolences to Dr. Witter's family. I worked with Dr. Witter for many years at his office in San Francisco. He was such a great guy! I enjoyed him and your Mom!
