Our family has known and loved Uncle Leon for as long as I can remember! Uncle Leon & Dad used to play marbles together as young children on the streets of Vienna. Today my hope is that my Dad,
Uncle Leon and"Tante Baa Baa" are all having a glass of good Austrian wine together to celebrate and honor their lives for both then and now.. Take care of each other..Uncle Leon, I will miss you dearly! All our love, Lori & Larry

Leon was a dear, close friend for over 50 years. He was like a family member and was godfather to our children. It was our honor to bear some responsibility for his care in his final days. We will always remember him with love.

Leone (Italian for Lion) and I studied Italian for a couple of hours every Saturday for a while at his house or mine. What a fun and loving fellow! I met Barbara and Leon on our first Christmas Eve in Mill Valley when, having had to cancel a trip to my Sister's, my husband and I went our in our Victorian tails and capes Christmas Caroling in our new neighborhood. By the time we got to the Weitz's we were 6. Barbara and Leon invited us INSIDE and insisted in popping champagne to warm us up as we all sang carols from our books! such loving and generous people they both were!
