Mark Biglieri Obituary

Mark Edward Biglieri 1956 - 2021 Mark Edward Biglieri passed away in early June due to complications from a long illness. A private memorial was held in July, attended by family members and friends. Mark is survived by his brothers, Michael and Gregg; sister-in-law Emico; and many branches of the Biglieri family. Mark was a remarkable teacher who inspired students to learn about cacti, euphorbia, succulents and reptiles, especially rattlesnakes, and to explore the wonders of his beloved Mojave Desert on class field trips. He taught in many schools in Marin County, most notably at REAL School Marin and Marin Primary Middle School. All will remember his intellectual curiosity and generosity as a teacher, his ability to communicate knowledge to students by inspiring them to think with their hands, hearts and minds, and the big-hearted love that shone through his inexhaustible friendships.
