Matt...Can't believe you are not with us any more. I remember the first time we met. You were so funny, so smart and articulate, and my gosh, one of the most talented artists I've ever known. We shared some great laughs and I will never forget what a genuine, solid, loyal friend you were to me. You never judged, and were always so positive. You were one of the only people that could ever make me feel better about whatever was going on in my life at the time. Thank you, for being in my life, even for the short time it was...I will pray for you always, and know, that even though you may not be here in the flesh, you are here in spirit. Love you my friend....may you rest in peace... knowing you were and will always be, someone great xo

Sheahan - you were my idol growing up, knew you my whole life. There wasn't anything you couldn't do well. A tragic loss but you will always be remembered. You were a legend at a very early age in life and touched so many people. The stories about you will bring smiles and laughter for years to come.

Be at peace my friend, you are loved and admired by many.

Matt you were always there for, always stepped up and stuck for what was good and right. A great skater, funny and kind, I wish I saw you one last time. You will be missed so sad you were taken from this world.

Surreal and tragic loss. Most of my memories from middle school to high school include Matt. Sweet, shy, creative, hilarious, loyal, strong and devoted friend to many. Rest in peace

One of the great Artists I have known. Outlandish. I knew Matt from Old Mill to Tam High Graduation, and afterwards. For four years we never passed in the Tam halls without saying 'Hey", regardless of who else was nearby... a smile everytime as only he and I knew why.
The reason? He and I agreed that clicques and status and who is 'cool' meant jack-diddly to either of us.
It is a loss, for his basic and simple kindness has helped soften my view of people, his art, along with Jason, Derek, and many within the Tam '92 has inspired and stretched my view of what is possible with pen and paper (or wall, fence, asphalt, even arms!)
Keep smilin' Matt, wherever ye may be...

I hold my head high with pride to call Matt Sheahan a close friend. And with a heavy heart that I say Godspeed Mathew.
Matt was is the kindest man I have ever met. And he was fun to be with, and had a spirit of a warrior. We spent 24 hours together in his car talking the entire time untill we had to sleep. Matt loved his Mother and missed his father with whom he is with. I love you Matt. This planet won't be the same without you. I will miss him dearly. Xxooxx p.s. Mrs.Sheahan my condolancses if you could contact me please .
