7 years ago bun and I still miss you everyday... I treasure our last walk under the fireworks and your laugh when the sprinklers went off. I will never forget what you said to me when you called later. Unimaginable that was to be our last embrace and conversation after a lifetime of conversations and love. You will always be a first and most important love of my life and you knew it. See you next time...

No words will ever come close to describe the effect on this world without you in it! I know you are in peace now and for that, I find comfort! I've read our last words to each other at least 100 times since I've heard this tragic news and still can't grasp the fact, you are no longer on this earth. I've never met a father who loved his children as much as you - I know your beautiful girls will grow up and your spirit and love for life will continue through them. Bettye, Leslee, Paul - The first and only time I ever met Michael was the day I went to visit my dear friend Bettye. As I was about to knock on the door I paused as I could hear Bettye singing Happy Birthday - it was Michaels first birthday. I waited to knock until she finished her sweet song to her dear son. I am so sorry for your loss.

I'm stunned and saddened to hear of the passing of a good man. I lost touch with Mike after high school, but based on the outpouring of love here it sounds like he never changed. Kind and gentle, the type of guy who would hang out with anyone, dork or jock. I'm very sorry for his loss. I hope his daughters maintain his legacy of jovial kindness as well as his sense of humor.

We are so saddened to learn of Mike's untimely passing. Our memories of him are as a kind, bright student and good friend of our son Matt at Mary Silveira. Seems that when we moved to Novato in 1978 we lost track of Mike and the family, but we never forgot you. Keeping you in our prayers for comfort and peace during this very difficult time.

My sincerest condolences for the loss of your wonderful son. The last time I saw Mike was on a flight to Germany in the summer of 1992. He was between jobs, with a friend, ready to begin his European backpacking adventure. At my 1st day at a new school, Mike was the very first person who introduced themselves to me. I had moved from Texas, and Mike sat right behind me 1st period in Mr. Eisenberg's class, making me feel welcome and included in my new surroundings. May you also be comforted in the sharing of
warm memories as you come together to celebrate his beautiful life. May God bless you.

My most heartfelt condolences to you all. I just got word of this news today. Memories of yester-years of the boys smoke cigars in Mexico while the rest of us were green and wishing we were back in the US.
