Rich, I'm still thinking of you as you fly high in heaven. You left us far far far too soon.

I worked with Rich for several years at US Bank. One of the kindest, smartest people I've ever known. Once, Rich bought me and some of my coworkers dinner to celebrate a milestone. I said I couldn't make it because I was looking after my 8 year old son. He said "Bring him along". It was a very memorable night for him. Wonderful man.

Worked back in the day with Rich at U.S. Bank. He interviewed me back when I started. He was a great dude and I'm so sorry for your loss. The part of his life I saw was inspiring and he will be missed. God Bless you and your family in your time of loss.

Dear Nancy and family,
I am so deeply saddened by the news of Rich's passing. I was privileged to know Rich in high school, and have many happy memories of playing tennis with Rich and spending time with his family. He was a genuine, caring person. Though we only stayed loosely connected over social media, it was obvious he was a dedicated family man and devoted to his grandchildren. I hope that your years of great memories created together, and the knowledge that his spirit will be missed by friends from all phases of his too-short life, will bring you some measure of comfort as you go through this sad time.

Dear Nancy; Rich and I were business colleagues in San Francisco for over 30 years. We both started together at Wells Fargo in our mid 20's and followed each other along the way on many jobs up until the time you moved to MN. I am saddened by his passing, it feels like I have lost a brother. He was always there for me when we helped each other with jobs and I enjoyed his good nature, humor, smarts and friendship. My condolences to you and your family. I will always remember Rich. Sincerely, Rich Jensen

I met Rich in college. We lived in the same dorm. I remember his great smile, sense of humor and fun loving nature. As we were both from Northern California, I was lucky enough to meet his wonderful parents, Joe and Pola. We kept in touch after college and I spent many weekend days with he and Nancy when they lived in San Rafael. What a lovely man he was. Such sad sad news. Claudia Held

I am deeply saddened by this news of my friend and mentor passing away. Rich was one of the first few people to welcome me when I joined USBank in late 2013. Minneapolis was new and cold for me but the warmth of his smile and hand shake never made me feel like I was in a distant land. He and I partnered to stand up and mature a data discipline within USBank. Here also he was truly a through professional. Extremely knowledgeable in the area of database marketing with visions to take it to new levels.
I am a better person just having known Rick for few years of my life. And I glad that I met him, worked with him and learned from him.
I am sure he is in a happy place. May god give his family strength and courage to deal with this loss.

I'm so sorry to hear about Rich's passing. Sending love and peace to his family. I worked with Rich at U.S. Bank, and remember to this day our first meeting when he taught me about SaaS... which I had never heard of until he explained it. He was beyond brilliant, in every definition of the word. God bless.

Rich, was a great leader and strategic thinker. I served on the Adler Board with Rich. His dedication, time and effort he gave as the Board chair was amazing. He made some very significant contributions to help school management consider some key strategies, to include an enhanced marketing approach. His passion and energy as Board Chair set a high standard for all.
I am so sorry for the family in losing Rich not long after his retirement. My condolences to the extended Martino family.
