I was a student of his at San Rafael High and moved on to another teacher in my senior year (1971-72) for AP Spanish. But Senior Carrasco was one of my favorite teachers. So kind and such a great sense of humor. At almost 70 years old now, I volunteer in a food bank and have had to speak Spanish with immigrants needing food. I would never have been able to do that without him. I thought he might still be alive and I´m sorry to hear he is not. But please know that he had an impact on my life that we both would never have guessed. God´s blessings. Debbie Robinson

I had the great pleasure of meeting Bob when I was student teaching at SRHS in 1977. He was always gracious, helpful, and supportive, and I enjoyed many great laughs with him and my dear master teacher, Jessie Diffley! A lovely surprise came a few years later, when sweet Kathy joined our faculty at Marin Catholic High School. It was truly special to get to know her and reconnect with Bob! Kathy, much love to you and your family.

My sincere condolences to you and your family, Kathy. We first met Bob when he and my mom taught together at San Rafael High School. With his outgoing personality he soon became a good friend to our whole family. We were saddened to hear of his death. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My condolences to family and friends. He'll always be Senor Carrasco to me, the greatest and most inspiring Spanish teacher ever. I insisted that San Rafael High put me in his class all four years from '63 to '67. No other teacher would do!

He was such a wonderful guy. He made learning Spanish fun at SRHS in the early 80s for me. To this day I still retain a lot of what he taught me! I am so very sorry for your loss.

May God's promise found in John 6:40, of the hope to see our loved ones again, comfort your heart and give you peace, strength, and hope in the days ahead.
