Sero Kupelian

1986 - 2023

Sero died unexpectedly on Monday, May 8th at the age of 37 in San Rafael, Ca. Born February 3, 1986 in San Francisco, California to Hrair and Magi Kupelian. Sero was the youngest of three siblings. He loved the outdoors, sports, and being with his family. He especially loved his dad's barbecues on Sunday nights. Family was really important to him. He lived and loved for his family. If you were lucky enough to have him as a friend, you knew he was loyal to you for life. Sero graduated from Terra Linda High School. He played football, and was quite a passionate Oakland Raiders fan. Sero worked for the family business side by side with his father. He enjoyed his time with his dad and the hilarious daily back and forth banter between the two of them. He was a loving uncle to two nieces, Giuliana and Bella, and two nephews Lukas and Samuel. The kids adored their uncle and he adored them. They enjoyed swimming and spending quality time with him at grandma and grandpa's house.Sero is survived by his parents Hrair and Magi, his brother Vatche Kupelian (Anabel), and his sister Tina Saxsenmeier (Joe), his nieces and nephews Bella, Lukas, Samuel, and Giuliana, and numerous extended family and friends.Family and friends are invited to attend a service for Sero at Keatons Redwood Chapel of Marin in Novato at 1801 Novato Blvd on Sunday, May 21st. The viewing is from 1-3, the service starting at 3.
