Steven Powers Obituary

Steven P. Powers
Steven Paul Powers passed away peacefully in Mountain Ranch, California on August 10th, 2005. Beloved son of Yvonne and Richard Powers of Petaluma, devoted brother of Robert (Ellen) of Virginia Beach, David of Albuquerque, NM, and Michelle Collay (George Gagnon) of Oakland; he is also survived by his aunt Therese Brelivet of Roseville, cousin Ana Tully of Berkeley and extended family in the Boston area.
Steve was born in San Francisco on June 2nd, 1951. He was raised in San Francisco and Marin County, graduating from Marin Catholic High School. A carpenter, Steve lived in the Sierra Foothill communities of Sheep Ranch and Mountain Ranch for about 25 years. Steve is remembered as generous friend, careful craftsman, avid sports fan, and lifelong fisherman.
There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Anselm's Church in Ross, at 12 Noon on Friday, August 19th and a Memorial Service at the Mountain Ranch Community Center on Saturday, August 20th, at 11:00 a.m.
