We are so sorry to hear of Tim's passing and would like to extend our condolences to his family. Tim's sister, Danya, was in our graduating class at Drake High in San Anselmo, 1957. Part of Tim's growing up years were on San Rafael Ave. in San Anselmo, CA before 1960. His dad, Dick Hart was first a coach of mine at Drake and later a colleague at Redwood High for many years. My family lived on Grove Lane just up the street from the Harts in those days. My brother Steve has very fond memories of young Tim when Steve was Tim's baseball coach just when Tim started playing as a pee wee in San Anselmo. I remember Tim as a cordial, pleasant guy, a gung ho sports fan, and just a decent character. I am so glad that he found his niche as a family man and that he found a way to lead a fulfilling, charitable life.

Dear Tim, Today is Friday the 13th,
a dark and gloomy day here in your Marin County,
the first real rain in 6 months. Tomorrow
will be the first of brighter days, the kind
all filled with our friend Tim.
He and Nancy shared
with Josie and me fond memories of a Portland
player piano attached to a restaurant wall.
Tim loved to tell of the 4th of July my father lost control
of a wheelbarrow of beer which tumbled down to
the basement, ... and later became a walk-in wine cellar.
the kind all filled with our friend Tim.

Every few years we visited the Harts.
One by one, Jordan, Natalie, Sydney, and Patrick
delighted us with their own versions of
good friend Tim. The family wouldn't
be complete without Sister Sally or several spouses and
many little kids, all in mourning today,
and all awaiting tomorrow,
Tim, thanks for being my good neighbor...
