WILLIAM A. "BILL" ENTWISLE

William A. "Bill" Entwisle Bill Entwisle, 86, of Petaluma, CA, died November 21, 2010 at home surrounded by his family. A native of San Francisco, he was born on April 26, 1924. He leaves behind a loving family and numerous friends. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Angelina; three sons, Robert (Katherine), James (Darlene) and Thomas (Barbara); six grandchildren, Russell, Stefani, Christopher, Jessica, Michael and Angela; and 10 great grandchildren. He served in the Submarine Service of the U.S. Navy during WWII, participating in five patrols before the war ended. Following the war, he followed in his father's footsteps, becoming an automobile mechanic and garage owner. He retired as general manager of Automotive Engineering in 1980 after 28 years of service. Bill was a lifelong stamp and coin collector. He endowed his sons and grandchildren with numerous personalized collections. Bill also very much enjoyed restoring classic cars, there always seemed to be a vintage car in some stage of 'repair' in his garage. All are invited to attend a Memorial Service in his honor on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary and Crematory, 850 Keokuk St. Petaluma.
