I have known Bill since he started with O.H. Day at Auto Automotive Engineering. My father William Bachman and I owned and operated Wm. Bachman Welding and Trailer Works at 1611 Pine St. S.F. With Bill and Ozzie we designed, built and installed the crane, hoists, hot tanks and other projects at 1460 Pine St. and in the Larkin St. building. I lost track of Bill after he retired. Bill was a problem solver, teacher, honest and a respected business man. Never a cross word spoken between us. I am proud to have known him and to call him a very good friend. Untill we meet again, all the best to his family. Paul Bachman.
