Bobbette Smith Obituary
Marion - Bobbette J. Smith, age 56 of Marion, passed away on Sunday June 17, 2018 at the Marion General Hospital.
Bobbette entered into this world on February 27, 1962 to the late Robert and Delores (Marin) Wells in Michigan. On May 2, 1985, she married Rodney Smith in Marion, OH.
Bobbette worked as a receptionist for the Marion Animal Hospital for 15 years. Over the course of her life, she has been a driving instructor and a cheerleading advisor for many years. Even though she had no children of her own, she had many "kids" and "four-legged children" whom she loved over the years. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.
Bobbette was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
She will be missed by her husband, Rodney Smith; Angela Stanley; sisters and brothers; all her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Friends and Family may come to honor Bobbette's life on Saturday June 23, 2018 starting at 2pm to 4pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 23, 2018 starting at 4pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations or balloons may be made to any Animal Humane Society of the donor's choosing. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at: www.boydbornfuneralhome.com.

I'm so sad to hear of Bobbette's passing. I knew her from many visits to the vet. I can't tell you how much I thought of her. She was so fun and caring. I'm glad my path crossed with hers. She will be missed!! My sincere condolences.

Bobbette and I worked together at Whirlpool before she went to Dr. Rowe's office. His office was her dream job and I'm so glad she had the opportunity to work there. We shared birthday cake because our birthdays were so close and we sang "Wheels on the Bus" while assembling dryers. Such good times. I'll see you again someday. You can train me this time.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Bobbette was loved by everyone and my Sammie always loved getting treats from her . she was always so nice and caring I will miss seeing and talking to Bobbette when I go to Marion Animal Hospital . May God put his arms around you and comfort you during this difficult time .

Bobette will be missed by many. She was always friendly and helpful, very patient and quick with a smile. She took care of me on my last visit to MAH, jokingly reminiscing about earlier visits and how much we all love our pets.
