Dan Reams Obituary
MARION: Dan I. Reams, age 90 of Marion, passed away at his residence on Sunday May 22, 2016.
He was born on July 7, 1925 to the late Don H., Sr and Arlene (Hessberger) Reams in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
He proudly served our country in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1946. Dan worked for 29 years with the Erie Railroad and retired after 25 years of Custodial work with the Marion Harding High School. He was also the Harding High School Basketball Scorekeeper for 51 years.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Don H., Jr (Betty) Reams and one step-sister: Gloria Jean (Bob) Lee.
Dan is survived by his three sons: Jeff (Kathy) Reams of Circleville, OH, Randy (Julie) Reams of Grand Rapids, MI and David Reams of Marion, OH; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank our brother David for all the home care given to Dad, also Hospice for the help and support, Joyce's Angels for the in home care of Dad especially Deb & Rob.

Visitation will be on Thursday June 2, 2016 starting at 2pm - 4pm then at 6pm - 8pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Graveside service will held at 11am at the Marion Cemetery on Friday June 3, 2016 with Military Service by the United Veterans Council of Marion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dan I. Reams community service & scholarship awards program in care of the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
