David Booker

COLUMBUS: David Booker, age 82 formerly of Marion, Ohio passed away Friday, February 1, 2013 at Mt.Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born June 2, 1930 in Marion, Ohio to the late Harry and Ruby (Hale) Booker. In April of 1962 he married Mildred (Woods) Booker, she preceded him in death in 1968. David was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving from 1950-1962.

He is survived by his brother, Harry Booker of Denver, Co.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four brothres, Charles, Philip, Plez and Leroy; two sisters, Harriett and Helen.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 1 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home, Pastor Michael Wade officiating, with the burial to follow at Marion Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 12 - 1 PM at the funeral home.
