F. Dutton Obituary
F. William "Bill" Dutton
MARION: F. William "Bill" Dutton, age 73, of Marion, Ohio, passed away Monday, March 14, 2011 with his loving family by his side.
He was born February 8, 1938 in Larue, Ohio to the late James and Mary E. (Culp) Dutton.
On December 24, 2001 he married Mary S. (Slane) Lore Dutton.
Bill was a member for many years at Epworth United Methodist Church where he was head usher. He retired after twenty-eight years from the Marion City Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Mary S. Dutton of Marion; son, Michael W. (Carrie) Dutton of Marion; daughter, Cathy L. (Sonny) Burks of Columbus; three step daughters, Sabrina (Todd) Cranmer of Marion, Angela (Dan) Ampthrop of Marion, Cyndra (Mark) Jackson of Noblesville, IN; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; his brother, Gene (Charlene) Dutton of Marion; a nephew, Tim Dutton of Columbus; and a large number of extended family members.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Beverly J. Dutton.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 18, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church with Pastor Colleen Ogle officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at Epworth United Methodiat Church. The Boyd-Born Funeral is handling the arrangements for the family.
