Barbara J Ulrich, age 71 of Marion, OH passed away February 15, 2026, at her home. She was born August 3, 1954, to the late Herbert E and Betty Jean (Pierson) Bender in Marion. Barbara was married to the late Ralph Ulrich.
Barbara is survived by daughter Hope Dean of Marion, grandchildren: Kortney (Ben) Potter of Marion and Gage Lewis of Marion, great-grandchildren: Kolby, Gracie, Alex, Paisley, and Sylvia, brothers: Frank (Tiffany) Bender and Herb (Jane) Bender, several nieces and nephews, and sister and lifelong friend Rita Wanamaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brother Robert Macelhany.
Barbara was a Marion Harding High School graduate then worked as a bartender for various restaurants in Marion. She enjoyed playing Bingo at AMVETS Post 138, cooking, and flower gardening. Barbara was a loving, giving person who adored her grandkids and great-grandkids. She will be dearly missed.
