Linda was an avid reader. Graduated from Marion Technical College. Loved Reese’s peanut butter cups. Strong willed, enjoyed sewing and embroidery. Liked walking, camping, traveling, and watching her beloved Buckeye football, as well as men’s and women’s basketball. Hated profanity and the direction society was moving into. Sang in a choir and loved music. Passed on her love of music to her children. Loved drums and percussion. Liked drum and bugle corps, watching her daughter perform with the Marion Cadets, and loved a parade. She watched the Rose Parade and Macy’s Parade on tv every year.
She was the eldest child of her parents Delmer and Glenola McConnell. Married Douglas Patrick in 1963, together they had three children, Juleigh, a published author, Doug II, and Mark. She was preceded in death by her parents and two of her siblings, Cathy, and Joe. Survived by sisters Ann, and Peggy, and her husband.
Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
