Juanita Keirns Obituary
On June 24, 1946 she married Clarence E. Keirns and he preceded her in death on June 28, 2000 in Marion. Juanita was a member of the Espyville Community Baptist Church and retired as a mail room supervisior for the Marion Star where she had been employed for over 20 years.
The lifetime Marion area resident is survived by three sons, David (Esther) Keirns, Michael (Melody) Keirns, & Steven (Linda) Keirns all of Marion; three daughters, Linda Webster of Bucyrus, OH, Carol (Roy) Kline of Galion, OH, & Lois (Mike) Richards of Delaware, OH, one brother, James (Nora) Montgomery of Galion, OH; 16 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren. Juanita was preceded in death, along with her parents and husband; by a daughter, Gwen Keirns; a granddaughter, Heather Keirns-Mollenkopf; and a sister, Mary Montgomery.
The funeral service will be held in the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the Iberia Cemetery. Pastor Herb Jordan will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.
Contributions in Juanita's name may be made to the Alzheimers Disease Association.
