Megan Wilson Obituary

Megan N. "Meme" Wilson

MARION: Megan N. "Meme" Wilson, age 35, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at Riverside Methodist Hospital following a sudden and brief illness.

On January 23, 1981, Megan was born in Marion, Ohio, the daughter of Jon Pickett and Molly (McGuire) Arter. She graduated from River Valley High School in the class of 2000.

For several years, Megan worked at Laipply's Printing & Marketing Solutions as a customer service representative.

Megan married the love of her life, Curtis Wilson, on May 16, 2015.

Having a huge heart for animals, Megan had a dream of one day starting her own rescue for dogs and cats, which was how she got her two dogs: Heidi and Halo; and cat, Lex.

Very selfless, Megan always put the needs of her family and friends before her own. She loved to take care of everyone around her, especially children and she always spoiled her cherished nieces and nephews.

Bubbly and fun loving, Megan had an infectious smile and laugh that brightened the day of everyone around her. You couldn't help but to be happy around Megan! She also had a close group of friends whom she adored and stuck together through thick and thin.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Curtis Wilson; mother, Molly Arter; father, Jon Pickett; sister, Kristen Arter; several nieces and nephews; and countless dear friends.

Megan was preceded in death by her step father, Greg Arter; and loving grandparents.

Her family will greet friends from 2 - 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, at the Gunder/Hall & Snyder Funeral Home, 347 W. Center St., Marion.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Delaware County, 4920 St. Rt. 37 E., Delaware, OH 43015.

Gunder/Hall & Snyder Funeral Home is honored to have been chosen to serve Megan's family and your condolences may be expressed to them by visiting www.SnyderFuneralHomes.com.
