Ricky Young Obituary
He was born in Martin County Kentucky to the late Clifford Young and Rowena (Bowens) Young who is still surviving.
Ricky enjoyed restoring old cars with his brothers and best friend Rick Clark; he was a strong believer in God and did not know a stranger. He was full of life, a ray of sunshine and always a twinkle in his eyes.
Ricky is survived by his son, Brock Evans Young of Cincinnati, OH; his daughter, Rachel Young of Marion; five brothers, Bill (Phyllis) Spaulding of Cardington, Clifford Young Jr., Ashley Young, Jeffery Allen Young of Marion and Thomas Kenneth Young of LaRue; eight sisters, Jewell (Gene) Beatty of Florida, Cathy (Ron) Messenger of Marion, Sandy (G.B.) Caudill of Marion, Brenda Bosh of Green Camp, Sharon (Rick) Rollins of Georgia, Judy (Phillip) Owens of Marion, Jeanette (Steve) Caldwell, of Marengo, OH, Edna (Brian) Hindman of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, December 9, 2010 from 5-7 p.m. at Boyd-Born Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 10 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Dwight Hord will officiate the service.
Contributions may be to the family in care of the funeral home.
