Ruth Redmond Obituary
RICHWOOD: Ruth Ellen Redmond, age 80, of Richwood passed away at her home on Thursday, May 10, 2012, following a brief illness. She was born March 22, 1932 in Marion, Ohio to the late George and Zella (McCulloch) Massie.
She graduated from Harding High School in Marion, Ohio. On April 6, 1953 she married Rockford Redmond and he survives. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Ruth was an active member of the Delaware Bible Holiness Church.
She will be dearly missed by her hree sons and two daughters: Dan (Sherry) Redmond of Ashley, Mark (Cindy) Redmond of Pennsylvania, Tom (Norene) Redmond of Waldo, Becky (Kenny) Rhoads of Delaware, Ann (David) Brewbaker of Marion; 12 grandchildren; Leanna (Matt), Danielle, K.C. (Samantha), Allison(Andy), Nathan (Amber), Alicia (Brent), Kristy (Robert), Julie (Aaron), Byron (Amy), Alice (Kevin), Clinton, Sarah (William); five great grandchildren; Katrina, Kaylee, Brandy, Tirzah,, Kohen, and 3 great grandchildren "on the way". She will also be dearly missed by many nephews, nieces, friends, and her special pet; "Shuler". She was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.
The Redmond family will greet friends at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Sunday, May 13, 2012, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Delaware Bible Holiness Church on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Aaron Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Prospect Cemetery.

Dan and Becky... You might not remember me, my brother Phil and I played with you when we lived on Universal Ave. Your mother came to my mothers viewing when she passed away. I was so touched by her kindness. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

She was such a beautiful Christian, sweet, always had a smile and had great love for her loved ones.
