Roy Jackson Obituary

Roy Lee Jackson Roy Lee Jackson, 82 of Lott, died Tuesday January 28, 2025 at a Temple Hospital. Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025 in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.

Mr. Jackson was born March 19, 1942 in Cedar Springs to Steve and Etoy Smith Jackson. He married Mary Landrum on February 12, 1966. He served in the US Army. He worked as a police officer for the City of Marlin and as water superintendent for the City of Lott. He also worked as a heavy equipment operator for Falls County prior to his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson, Brandt Lee Jackson, his son in law, Luke Jackson, four brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jackson of Lott, two sons, James Roy Jackson of Marlin and Jeffrey Lee Jackson and wife Lori of Lott, one sister, Barbara Martin of Cleveland, two grandchildren, Cacie Kahlig and Joshua Jackson, two great grandchildren, Flora Kahlig and Elliott Kahlig, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
