DAVID GRINSTEAD David Charles Grinstead, 67, of Grandview, MO, formerly of rural Malta Bend, MO, died Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. Graveside services with military rites will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, with Pastor Liz Lindley officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to family choice. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com Born November 28, 1956, in Scotland, he was the son of the late Gerald and Margaret Grinstead. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving from June 22, 1975 to July 16, 1976 and had lived in Grandview the past five years, moving from rural Malta Bend. He loved working on cars and loved his animals. Survivors include one daughter, Yvonne Grinstead of Marshall; one brother, Bobby Grinstead (Teresa) of Texas and; one niece, Lauren of Texas. In addition to his parents; David was preceded in death by one brother, Ron Grinstead; and a nephew, Chris Grinstead.
