GARY PENNOCK Gary Richard Pennock, 75, of Marshall, MO, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Southside Assembly of God with Rev. Cliff Cato and William W. Harlow officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials are suggested to Southside Assembly of God in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com Born May 24, 1950, in Riverton, KS, he was the son of the late Richard B. Pennock and Juanita Faye Livingston Pennock. On January 10, 1976, he married Barbara Naugle Toliver who survives of the home. Gary graduated from Washington High School in Kansas City, KS, and in 1991 earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History and his Bachelor of Science degree in Education, both from Missouri Valley College, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He worked for many years in various types of sales with over 16 of those years with the Meuschke Insurance Agency in Marshall. In 1985 the Slater Optimist Club was formed, of which he was a charter member, he later joined the Marshall Optimist Club where he was president from 2017-2018 and was a member of the Blind Pony Coon Hunters. Gary had a strong passion for serving his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and encouraged everyone he could to know Jesus. He was a member of Southside Assembly of God. In addition to his wife, Barbara; he is survived by their children: Shawn Toliver (Tatiana), Heather Knaust (Scott), Matthew Pennock (Brandy) and Brian Pennock (Peanut); 11 grandchildren: Maria Fick (Tom), Alex Toliver, Nicholas Toliver, Dalton Stude (Daelyn), Drake Knaust, Addyson Knaust, Preston Pennock, Clayton Pennock, Kimberly Pennock, Cooper Pennock and Ava Pennock; four great-grandchildren: Emma, Hannah, Owen and Maddie Fick; three brothers: Ronnie, Steve and Dave Pennock; one sister, San Hodges; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
