RICHARD LOGAN Richard A. "Dick" Logan, 87, of Marshall, MO, died Monday, October 27, 2025, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating. Inurnment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Chillicothe. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com Born April 11, 1938, in Brookfield, he was the son of the late Carl Logan and Flossie Miller Logan. On June 27, 1956, he married Betty Ann Sizemore who survives of the home. Dick's career was spent in retail management and moved to Marshall in 1990. He had a very solid work ethic and after moving to Marshall in 1990, he worked at Family Dollar, Fitzgibbon Hospital in environmental services, and as a security guard at Con-Agra. Had his health allowed it, he would have worked well beyond the age of 82 when he was no longer physically able. Dick was an avid music lover. He was self-taught in all areas of music and could play the organ as well as anything that had strings. Although he couldn't read music, he was gifted with a talent and could pick up on any song and play it with expertise. He and Betty both enjoyed music and both played and sang in country and western bands. As well as music, Dick was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. In addition to his wife of 69 years, Betty; he is survived by three children: Buddy Logan (Laurie) of Clay Center, KS, T.J. Souder (Chris) of Marshall and John Logan of Marshall; 14 grandchildren: Kimberly Daniels, Timothy Reed, Joseph Walker, Tiffany Allen, Emily Hall, Sarah Long, Kaitlyn Jilka, Josh Souder, Andrew Souder, Brittanie Souder, John Logan Jr., Elizabeth Logan, Billy Logan and Jessica Logan; as well as numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; Dick was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Cindy Reed and Debbie Whistler; one granddaughter, Jessica Souder; and one grandson, John "J.C." Eitel.
