Michael P Fredericks, age 67, of Marshfield, passed away Friday September 23, 2016 at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, September 29, 2016 at North Ridge Church (1021 W McMillan Street) in Marshfield. Visitation will be held at the church from Noon until the time of service on Thursday.

Michael was born April 22, 1949, the son of Clyde and Betty (Sternbeck) Fredericks in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. On June 9, 1975 Michael was united in marriage to the love of his life Joan Westerhausen in Miami, OK. Michael was employed at a crackfilling service out of Cross Plaines, Wisconsin.

He was a member of North Ridge Church and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing, painting, and music. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren. Those that knew Michael best will miss his free spirit, unconditional love for his family, and his amazing life stories.

Michael is lovingly survived by his wife: Joan Fredericks; children: Ken (Jana) Michalski, Carla (Scott) Lauritsen, Amy Michalski, Jennifer (Terry Kelly) Michalski, Eric Fredericks, and Mishan (Erik) Schlagenhaft. He is further survived by his siblings: Diane (Butch) Chervney, Scott (Dawn) Fredericks, Jodi Fredericks, Ty (Geanie) Fredericks, as well as 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Clyde and Betty; sibling: Dale Fredericks; as well as his granddaughter: Taylor Marie.
