Roland Baun Obituary

Baun, Roland "Terry"

Roland "Terry" Baun, age 59, of Arpin, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield (1010 E. Veterans Parkway). The Pastor Alex Romanov will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 30th, from 4:00 until 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.

Terry was born on November 28, 1952 in Kenosha, the son of William and Shirley (Steffen) Baun. He was united in marriage to Gladys Carlson on June 24, 1973. Terry was a hard worker who held many jobs from co-owning/operating a construction company to trucking but the one that touched his heart and kept him smiling was working with Gladys as owner/operators of Specialized Transport (a non-emergency medical transport company).

Mr. Baun was an avid Packer Fan who loved to travel and camp. He cherished time spent with his family, especially with his children and grandchildren. Those that knew him best will remember his unselfish/ compassionate nature and his love of telling stories.

Terry is lovingly survived by his wife, Gladys; children, Ryan (Katrina) Baun of Rockford, IL, Nicholas (Traci) Baun of Burleson, TX; and grandchildren, Tiffany Baun, Roland Thomas Baun, Jackson Baun, and Sophia Baun. He is further survived by one sister, Kathy (Ralph) Zalabak of Stratford; as well as many other relatives and friends. He will truly be missed!

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Shirley.
