Thomas Tolppi Obituary
The family will receive relatives and friends at a remembrance service / open house after 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept.10, 2011, at the home of Timothy and Renee Tolpi, 10832 West 8th Street, Hewitt. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Thomas was born Feb. 5, 1938, in the town of Butler, Otter Tail County, Minn., the son of John and Jennie (Loffman) Tolppi. He was a 1956 graduate of Sebeka High School in Sebeka, Minn. He also graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in mechanical engineering.
He was united in marriage to Linda Lou Hetcher on Sept. 7, 1963, in Milwaukee.
Tom enjoyed gardening and working outside. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Marshfield.
Tom is survived by his wife, Linda, and by three sons, John (Connie) Tolppi of Brevard, N.C., Thomas (Robin) Tolppi of Waterford, Conn., and Timothy (Renee) Tolppi of Hewitt. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Spencer, Nicholas, Robert, Sabrina, Sydney and Taylor. He is further survived by a sister, Beatrice (Joseph) Moosally of Mankato, Minn.
He was predeceased by his parents and ten brothers and sisters.
