Beverly Stultz Obituary

Beverly Hazelwood Stultz

November 10, 1949 - October 22, 2021

Beverly Hazelwood Stultz, 71, of Bassett passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Martinsville, Virginia November 10, 1949 to the late Henry Hazelwood and the late Clarice Stone Hazelwood. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Janice Chitwood.

Beverly attended Tabernacle Baptist Church and loved working with her flowers and watching hummingbirds come to the feeders in the yard.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Bobby G. Stultz; two sons, Bobby "Buddy" L. Stultz and Scott C. Stultz; three grandchildren, Brandon, Gracie and Noah.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 1 until 2 p.m. in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel where the funeral will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Eugene Chitwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Burial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or your favorite charity.

Due to the governor's requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is recommended and social distancing is to be observed at the funeral home.

In loving memory of a wonderful aunt. So many memories, so many fun times. Your love for us was so felt, you loved us as your own. Our hearts are heavy but, we know one day we will see you again. Uncle Bobby, Buddy and Scott know we are keeping you all close in our thoughts and prayers.

I am thankful to have a sweet great Aunt like Beverly. She was always so kind and soft spoken. I enjoyed seeing her and Uncle Bobby at family events. My heart breaks for Uncle Bobby. Just as she was an angel here Aunt Beverly is now an angel in heaven. My heart, love and prayers go out to Bobby, Buddy, Scott and their whole family. May God touch each one of you and give you comfort and peace. Love you all

My beautiful Aunt Beverly filled my life with love and laughter. Every moment we shared always ended with us laughing until we cried. She made all our family moments special. We loved to hear her stories of all her "savings" as "coupon queen" of the family. And waited to see the next "diamond"! Beverly always had the sweetest things to say to me. If I was down she always gave me a little happy nudge. I'm so sad for Uncle Bobby, Buddy & Scott and will pray for all of us to find peace and understanding. Peace, knowing we will see her again in heaven and thankful there is no more pain for our precious Beverly. Terresa & Family
