Kevin Lee Joyce, 40, of Roanoke, VA, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025. He was born in Martinsville, VA, on February 5, 1985, to James "Jimmy" L. Joyce and Pamela Bowles Joyce.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Kellie Joyce; two sons; other family members; and his in-laws.

Kevin was a graduate of Fieldale Collinsville High School, UNC Ashville, and Liberty University, where he received his Masters Degree.

He was a High School math teacher, and he loved meteorology. He enjoyed playing games with his family.

A visitation will be held at 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Collinsville. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. and will be officiated by Pastor Larry Cheek and Pastor Ron Young, Jr. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Garden.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Preborn.com (with memo: "Joyce Family") or to the First Baptist Church of Collinsville, P.O. Box 36, Collinsville, VA, 24078.
