This breaks my heart to see. Best teacher ever. Great person as well. You will be missed.

I am shocked and broken hearted to hear this. She was one of the toughest instructors I had at PH but also the one I learned the most from. She became my friend. I can´t tell you how sorry I am and my condolences to her family. Keeping all of you in prayer.

Phyllis and I both taught English at PHCC. Her never ending energy and courage made her a good teacher, wife, mother, and grandmother. My last contact with Phyllis was at Kroger after she had retired. She confessed she was still teaching one class. As usual, she shared many updates on her family. May God comfort you all now and continue to pass on to you her energy and courage. Marie Garrett
