I'm sorry to hear of Aileen's passing. I worked with Aileen at Halmark and enjoyed her stories about family and her love of crafting. She was a good example of a life well lived.

Aileen was a friend, fellow bridge player, wonderful artist, and fun to be with. I have some very pleasant
memories of our times together. She was a kind person and a help to many. She cared for Don and was attentive to his needs at home and at the nursing home. She was patient with him and did not complain of the years taking care of him. I marveled at her artist ability to paint. I have two of her cross-stitch Santas in my collection.. She was a talented crocheter making beautiful items for babies at local hospitals and shawls which she donated to a local church that went to senior citizens in nursing homes. She moved to Texas and I missed her and more so now. Thanks for the memories, Aileen.

So sorry to see this. Met Aileen shortly after moving to Wilbraham, playing bridge with her in several groups for years. I admired her dedication to her husband spending hours with him when in the nursing home even standing outside his window in the cold of winter during Covid communicating with the phone.
She so wished she could have seen more of her grandchildren when both her sons moved south.
Aileen had a sharp intellect, a artistic talent, & created many beautiful items including her cross stitch Santas. I am lucky to have 4 of them & will think of her each Christmas as I display thrm.
Aileen spent hours crocheting blankets for infants which she donated to a local hospital. She also made many prayer shawls which she donated, this time to a local church. Her kindness to others & her friendship with me will remain in my memory. God bless you Aileen.
