We knew John through my association with him in the Hampden Lions Club. Many years. Always a willing worker in and for the many things the Lions' Club was known for. Always friendly and with a smile. He will be missed. Bob and Marge Shaw

Dear Lynn and family; I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. Lion John was the nicest guy one could ask for. He was of invaluable service to the WMass Lions during our Habitat For Humanity build in Springfield many years ago, working many, many Wednesdays and Saturdays with us. He will be greatly missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Lion Scott, East Longmeadow Lions Club
