Laura Kratovil Obituary

Laura Marie Kratovil, age 36, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2022, in her home in Chicopee, MA. Laura was the single mother of two sons, Jordan and Dominic, who were the loves of her life. She enjoyed making food for her family and friends. As a gifted cosmetologist and hair dresser, she was regularly sought after for her skills by many friends and family. She attended Bethlehem Church in Hampden, MA for many years throughout her life. Laura was a high honors graduate of Springfield Technical Community College and was working towards a medical degree. Those that knew her would tell of her intelligence, compassion, thoughtful acts, sarcastic wit, and limitless sense of humor. Her loyalty to her family was fierce. Among the many animals she loved, her favorites were her two feline brothers, Monster and Monkey, her sisters' dogs Zeta and Sydney, and her mom's dog Tiny. Laura will be deeply missed by all those that loved her. She is predeceased by her father, Steven M. Kratovil. She is survived by her sons Jordan and Dominic, both of Chicopee, MA, her mother Debra A. Provencher of East Longmeadow, MA and Deb's partner John Collins of Springfield, MA, her sister Melissa Esteves and her husband Pedro of Ware, MA and her sister Samantha Noonan of Methuen, MA, her nephew Caleb and niece Esmeralda, and cousins Robbie, Michael, Lisa, Kara, Ashley, Raeanne, Gary, Leah, John, Amanda, and Jacob, and many more cousins on the Kratovil side. Visiting hours will be held Monday July 18 from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Sampson Chapel of the Acres at 21 Tinkam Rd, Springfield, MA, with a funeral home service beginning at 1:00, with Rites of Committal to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
