A year has passed ( and 2 days) since you left this earth. I think of you so often and not a week goes by that I don't think," I've got to stop in at the library and tell Tricia about this.", and then of course I remember that you're gone and the sadness creeps in. It's still so hard to believe that you are gone. I wish that you could have held out a little longer. There's so many things I want to tell you, so I just tell you and hope that you can hear me somehow. There's some very nice people working at the library now. You would really like them I'm sure. I wish you were there to see how it is now. Although you are gone from the building, your legacy and spirit remain. I think of you each time I look at the beautiful silhouettes that you created that frame the windows or the Peppa the pig and the other cartoon characters from books that you so painstakingly created. There's a framed photo of you making slime with some of the kids from years ago. And the many examples of the crafts and the artwork that you did are on the shelves. It's never going to be the same without you. I hope that you are up in heaven making new arts and crafts and beautifying and decorating heaven's Gates, maybe with some shamrocks and felt leprechauns. You are gone but not forgotten dear Tricia.

Tricia was the heart and soul of the East Springfield Library Her smiling face, love for all the children, and all her terrific crafts will be dearly missed. She always saved discard books for me to give to my students and the Bowles children spoke so lovingly about her. May she rest in peace.

Tricia had a gift. Trish was a gift...to the East Springfield Library, patron's, fellow librarians, clerks, the list goes on. I am so sad to hear of her passing. She had a knack to converse with young and old. I worked with her for many years. She, her husband David, and I, went to Donovan's for dinner several times. They were very devoted to each other, I felt honored to be their friend. My deep sympathies to David. My deep condolences to her mom, Delores. And I must include the feline family, who were the topic of many a conversation between Trish and me! Her grace and kindness, her interest in everything anyone had to talk about, her making coffee and refreshments for the knitting group. I am blessed for having her as a friend, I am so very sad. Blessings to Trish, David, Delores, and all her family.

There are no words to express my sorrow. I have know Tricia for over 30 years. She loved our neighborhood, and we always had a great time exchanging recipes and programming ideas. To say the she was "crafty" was an understatement. I enjoyed working with her as part of the Elementary Team, but mostly, I enjoyed her as a colleague and a friend that was always willing to make East Springfield a nice place to live. I cannot drink a small French Vanilla Dunkin' without thinking of you, Tricia. I will miss you. May your family take strength and comfort in knowing how much you were valued and appreciated by those around you.

Joy and Kindness in a person should be Celebrated.
I am happy to have experienced the kindness and joy that Tricia showed to those she worked with and to the many visitors, whom she was so happy to help. We will remember her with Joy.

Tricia was one of the most kind hearted and genuine people I have ever met.
Her love for books, children and art, made her a natural at her job. She touched the lives of so many young people at the East Springfield library, selflessly giving of her time talents and treasure. She formed the American doll Club buying the expensive beautiful dolls with her own money. Her Victorian tea parties were legendary,as she trudged in with complete antique tea cups of varying designs, specialty teas cucumber sandwiches and handmade dainties.
Everything she did to make patrons feel special and welcome at that library was a labor of love and her efforts certainly did not go unappreciated by the entire neighborhood. She would have made a great ambassador as she knew the history and every inch and cranny of East Springfield. She once told me that as a child she went to the head of the line at the infamous Ray's seafood because she was such a sweetheart I guess.
She will never be forgotten by those of us who knew her best and had the pleasure of being able to call her friend.
I have no doubt that she is up in heaven now decorating the clouds with paints and pretty colors and making it a more beautiful place while we here on Earth mourn for her.
Sincere sympathy to her beloved husband David who she once told me was the greatest part of high school meeting him. And my sympathies also go out to her mother Dolores who was her best friend. I hope Trisha knows how much we all appreciated and loved her .

There was nobody like Tricia. She lit up that library like nobody else could. She gave of herself so generously and the children loved her. Most people thought and just presume she was a children's librarian because that is exactly how she acted. She fulfilled that role. She was a wonderful and giving person. She was creative multi-talented but most of all she was kind ,patient and good to everyone. The world has lost a beautiful soul and heaven has gained another angel.

Tricia was a very special lady. I worked with her for many years at the East Springfield Library. Patrons LOVED her. She had a special creative, artistic talent. I use to call her Ms. East Springfield because she gave so much to that library, to all the patrons and her community. Tricia was unique and added her special touch to the East Springfield Library. This is a great loss in our community. My deepest condolences! I'm so sad and sorry. My heart goes out to the whole family.
