Austin Paul Burnett, 33, of Melber, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2024.
Austin was born to Melissa Ann Burnett and Robbie Paul Anderson in Mayfield on Nov. 22, 1990. He had just started his own contracting business, A & B Excavating, but was able to do electrical work and carpentry. Austin was also an intermittent, long term, temperamental employee of Davis Electric. He was known by everyone as one of the hardest, yet messiest workers you would ever meet. Austin was a jack of all trades who loved to help those around him when in need. He was also a very social man who loved to be around people. When Austin had the time, he loved to fish, watch St. Louis Cardinals baseball games, and play cards and games. He loved music and shared that love with his daughter, Landry. Austin also loved a party and a celebration - but most of all, he loved being together with the people he loved. He was funny and always quick to make others laugh, but he was also caring, compassionate, and loved with his whole heart. No one knew that better than his little angel, Landry. Austin's greatest joy on earth was being a daddy to his little girl.
Austin is survived by his mother, Melissa Ann Burnett of Melber; his father, Robbie Paul Anderson (Sheree) of Lone Oak; his daughter, Landry Burnett, and her mother, Kaitlynn Clapp (Bo, Vann, Myla), all of Mayfield; siblings, Lauren Boyster (Jake Osborne) of Bowling Green, Jasmine Pickard of Lone Oak, Sophia Anderson of Lone Oak, Spicer Anderson of Lone Oak, and Jadon Pickard (Areli) of North Carolina; an uncle, Bo Burnett of Melber; a cousin, Seth Burnett (Addi Lamb) of Melber; and his grandmother, Susan Shultz.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Joyce Burnett.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, at the funeral home.
