Dixie Stephenson Henderson, 100, of Wingo, died at 1:24 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28, 2023, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.
She was a member of the Wingo Baptist Church; a retired nurse and a beautician.
She is survived by her son, Lewis Dewain Tucker of Hickory; her brother, George Stephenson, Jr. of Fulgham; three grandchildren, Teresa Ann Langston of Wingo, Charlton Tucker of Boaz, and Robin Tucker of Mayfield; 11 great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Tucker; second husband, Rev. Ira Henderson; and one brother. Her parents were George Stephenson, Sr. and Euna Burge Stephenson.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at the Brown Funeral Home in Wingo, with Rev. Chris Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Mayfield Memory Gardens. Friends may call after noon on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023 at the Brown Funeral Home in Wingo.
