Donna Whittington Obituary
ORANDA, Fla. - Donna Mohler Whittington, 83, of Oranda, Florida, passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025, at Advent Health Hospice Care in Altamonte, Florida.
She was born in Mayfield, KY on July 18, 1942. Her parents were Willie and Clotene Mohler.
She graduated from Symsonia High School in 1960 and then attended Murray State. She was a long-term member at McKendree United Methodist Church and was an office manager and co-owner of Whittington Insurance Agency, Leesburg, Florida.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Russ Whittington; sons Mark Russel Whittington (Mary Burke) and William Michael Whittington of Florida; sister, Janice Powell of Benton, Kentucky; nephews, Jeff Powell and Steve Powell of Benton, and Joey and Donnie Whittington of Maryland.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers-in-law Richard Powell and Joe Whittington; and niece, Cynthia Powell Conner.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 2 at McKendree Cemetery with Rev. Richard Dowdy officiating.
There will be no public visitation.
Collier Funeral Home and Cremation Services will be handling all arrangements.
