Earl Edward Boyer, 87, of Mayfield, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.
He was a retired employee from Oxford Chemical and a member of Farmington Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Shelby Colley Boyer; two daughters, Katherine McGruder of Memphis, Tennessee and Andrea Broyles of Venice, Florida; three grandchildren and one great grandchild also survives.
Earl was preceded in death by an infant son and one sister. His parents were Earl Joseph Boyer and Mary Johnson Miller.
A memorial graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, at the Farmington Cemetery. Rev. Ben Stratton will officiate. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post #26. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery.
