Richard Lee Poindexter, 62, of Mayfield, died at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah.
He was a retired foreman from Applegate Insulation in Hickory and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Poindexter of Mayfield; two sons, Richard Alan Poindexter, Jr. of Farmington and Cole Poindexter of Bowling Green; mother, Shirley Perry of Mayfield; three step-daughters, Stacey McClure of Benton, Kim Heath of Evansville, and Marlis Beach of Mayfield; brother, Jamie Chambers; and 11 grandchildren.
Richard was preceded in death his father, Charles Edward Poindexter; and one brother.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
The Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, is in charge of the arrangements.
