CYNTHIANA — Francis "Frank" Duane Curtis died April 25, 2025, at the Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville. He was born in Mt. Olivet on Sept. 5, 1948.
After graduating from Deming High School, Frank joined the United States Navy. He loved the Navy and was proud of his Naval career. After 20 years of service, he retired as Chief Petty Officer.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Ruth Curtis, his parents, Arnold and Dorothy Curtis, three brothers, Paul Wells, Ronald Curtis, and Michael Curtis.
He leaves behind three daughters, Michelle (Dave) Taylor, Sidney (Danny) Hitch, Mary (Chris) Breeze, and one son, Marcus Curtis. Grandchildren, Brandon (Savaddy) Taylor, Hailey (Cameron) Volz, Dylan McElfresh, Tessa Curtis, Jordan Taylor, and Bryan Curtis, one brother, Phillip (Yvonne) Curtis, four sister-in-laws, Barbara Curtis, Chaun Curtis, Gladys Abrams, and Mary Workman, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10 a.m, Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Robertson County Funeral Home in Mt. Olivet. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Paul Curtis, Minh Long, Danny Hitch, Chris Breeze, Cameron Volz and Dylan McElfresh.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Dr., Maysville, KY 41056.
