Both of our daughters were fortunate enough to have Jane as their first grade teacher. She was the definition of a caring, empathetic, loving teacher who cared deeply for each of her students. Jane was also an inspiration to me as a new first grade teacher around that same time. A good human in every way. The world was a better place with her in it. Rest in peace, Jane.

Jane was my neighbor from 1975 to 1980 in Englewood, and one of my favorite ones from anyplace I ever lived. I lost contact with her after I left those apartments, but I reconnected through a mutual neighbor from those days a few years ago who told me about her.

We all have experienced such a deep loss. I knew Jane from the first years of our teaching careers at Northwood Elementary. We had so many fun times together at school, at social gatherings, at holiday parties, and at Friday Happy Hours!
She had such a deep love for each and every child she helped along their early journeys of life. Her laughter. Her positivity. Her joy! Her inspiration!! Her belief in the good in each person... these, and so many more are just a few of the incredibly special things I want to remember of Jane´s precious life.
A life lived for others!! She will continue to be greatly missed. Her legacy lives on through all the lives she touched!!
Praying for peace and comfort to John, their families and friends.

Jane and I were classmates throughout our public school years in Maysville, elementary through high school. Although we saw each other seldom times afterwards, I was saddened to hear the news of her passing.
My condolences to her family and to her many friends.

My condolences to John and family and friends. Jane always looked out for and served others in a very unselfish way. My thanks to her for everything she did for me and hundreds of others as she goes on her path to God.
