MAYSVILLE – Michael Lee Arthur, 58, of Maysville passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center.
Mr. Arthur was employed by International Paper.
He was a member of the Maysville Moose Lodge #1124, an avid golfer and UK basketball and Bengals football fan.
Mike was born in Maysville on March 29, 1965 the son of James Arthur, Sr. of Minerva, Kentucky and the late Marjorie Emmons Arthur.
Beside his father, he is survived by his wife, Jennifer Dunaway Arthur; his two daughters, Aimee Arthur (Tyler Powell) and Erin Arthur and two step-children, Aaron Smalley (Heather Breeze) and Michaela Smalley (Josh Thomas) all of Maysville; two grandchildren, Braxton Swanger and Madisyn Smalley; his brother, Jimmy Arthur (Donna) and one nephew, Dylan Arthur (Marlena) both of Germantown.
Funeral services for Michael Arthur will be held at the Faith Assembly of God Church at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2024 with Rev. David Cheek officiating.
Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dylan Arthur, David Cooney, Steve Allison, Ray Tolle, Jay Tolle, Timmy Mitchell, Justin Bergemeier and David Pfeffer.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Powell, Josh Thomas and Aaron Smalley.
Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056 or to the Cummins Nature Perserve Park, 3049 Pickett Lane, Maysville, 41056.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
