Randy Insko Obituary

GERMANTOWN — Randy Wayne Insko, 64, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Pioneer Trace Nursing home in Flemingsburg, KY.

He was born on May 12, 1959, to the late Eugene "Ramrod" and Allena "Mae" Collins Insko.

Randy was a carpenter, loved art, and shared many of his beautiful paintings with family and friends.

He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors, which is how he earned his nickname "Mountain Randy".

Randy was a kind, loving, fun soul who never met a stranger.

He will be truly missed by all.

Randy is survived by his siblings, Ronald (Genie) Insko of May's Lick, KY, Roy (Martha) Insko of Manchester, Ohio, Rita Insko of Germantown, and Carla Padgett (Dennis Dice) four nieces and nephews, Josh (Carol) Bess, Aaron Insko, Gena (Marc) Cissna, and Taylor Insko; several great nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Benji.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Insko and a special friend, Paula Insko.

Memorial service will be 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Palmer Funeral Home in Germantown.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope.
