MOUNT OLIVET — Robert N. "Bob" Leet, 83 years old, departed this life on Friday, May 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on Nov. 20, 1941, the son of the late Clinton and Dorothy Leet.
Bob was a member of the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church for over 50 years. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1961-1966 at various Air Force bases in Texas, Mississippi, Florida and Greece. Bob was also employed at IBM for several years. As well as loving the outdoors and farming, Bob participated in a variety of sports throughout his life. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and collecting arrowheads. He considered himself a simple man with simple ways. Bob was a man of high integrity.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marianne Insko Leet; children, Leanne (Craig) Adkins, Lesley (Troy) Martin, Lindsey (Marti) Leet; grandchildren, Seth (Dana) Adkins, Luke (Jessica) Adkins, Devin (Emily Hopkins) Leet; great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Eden, Aubrey, and Emery Adkins; brother, William (Dorinda) Leet; one aunt, Ruby Overbey, sister in law, Martha (Tom) Workman and a host of extended family and dear friends.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Fairview, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Bob will be laid to rest in the Elizaville Cemetery with military honors rendered.
Palmer Funeral Home and Crematory are serving the Leet Family.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Bob's honor to Mt. Olivet Methodist Church 28 North Main St., Mt. Olivet, KY 41064 or to Hospice of Hope 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056.
