Adam Halteman Obituary

Adam David Halteman, 36, of Bethlehem, died unexpectedly on July 7, 2021. He is a beloved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and best friend.

Adam attended classes in his youth within the Nazareth Area School District. He graduated from Bethlehem Catholic High School in 2003. While attending High School he earned the Distinguished Eagle Scout award in 2001. Adam continued his education at Penn State University where he earned associates degrees in Electrical Engineering Technology, and Nanofabrication Manufacturing Technology in 2005 and Bachelor of Science degree in Information Sciences and Technology in 2008. Adam was a member of the Sigma Pi Fraternity, a brotherhood he shared with his father.

Adam's most recent work was with FedEx in Northampton. He was previously employed with NanoHorizons in State College; E-Research Technology in Philadelphia; and Broadcom, Inc. and he performed an internship with Bosch Rexroth. Being a technical wizard, he designed and built computers from scratch. Earlier, Adam served as a ski instructor at Blue Mountain and worked at the Silver Creek Country Club Golf Course.

Adam will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, generosity and sense of adventure. He enjoyed baseball, swimming, and skiing. He found great joy in riding his go-karts and 4-wheelers. Adam had a special place in his heart for all animals; from snakes to Appaloosa Horses, but especially loved his Welsh Corgi, Prince. Adam was a talented musician; he played the piano and electric guitar. He even composed his own music. Adam was an avid fan of the band AFI. In his free time Adam liked to attend live concerts.

Adam will be dearly missed by his parents, David Samuel and Jane (Letowt) Halteman; his sister, Rebecca Halteman Hower and husband, Todd David Hower; his nephew, Blake Jensen Hower; and niece, Sadie Noelle Hower; as well as his aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive guests at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem PA 18020 on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in the church at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.

Dad

July 13, 2025

Dear Adam,
I miss you each and every day. I look at your pictures in the morning and evening and remember so many fun times together. There was always an adventure and you motivated us to do more and enjoy life.
Trips to Space Camp in Florida, the West Coast, Dinosaur National Monument, Penn State in the Orange and Rose Bowls, fishing, riding ATVs, riding a bike for the first time, getting a red Mustang Convertible, but most of all just being with you. You were so knowledgeable about everything, it was amazing what you knew.
Sadie and Blake are growing up fast. Sadie is 9 and active in dance, fishing, soccer, bike riding and swimming. Blake is 12 and active in soccer, fishing, bike riding and basketball. They both are riding Uncle Adam's bikes.
You are in our thoughts and prayers and we look forward to seeing you again.
God Bless you.
You are in our memories forever.
Love and Hugs,
Dad

We miss you every moment of every day. The fireworks at OCMD were terrific this year, almost as good as yours off of 133rd st.
Dad was not along. He is fighting cancer. But Becky took the kids fishing, golfing, go karting..all the things you liked to do.
I pray to you every day..you are my special 'star' in Heaven.
Love you always, moo moo

Adam it has been 2 years since you left us. I have fond memories of you from our numerous encounters. I remember being with you and talking with you, but my memory pales in comparison to the wonderful, caring, loving, brilliant, loyal, and compassionate person you truly were. You will be loved and missed forever.
