Adele Erickson Obituary

Adele A. Erickson
Adele A. Erickson, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2013. She was the wife of the late Dr. Edwin S. Erickson, Jr., with whom she shared over 59 years of loving marriage. Adele was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem, where she sang in the choir, led Circle Groups, and catered many events. She was a member of Church Women United, Presbyterian Women, the League of Women Voters, and was an election judge in the 11th Ward for over 25 years. She enjoyed playing cards in her bridge club, as well as listening to music, reading, and playing games and laughing with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Survivors: Daughter, Ruth Erickson-Bethmann and her husband William of Bethlehem Township; sons, Edwin S. Erickson, III, Leigh Charles Erickson and John R. Erickson, all of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Ian and Gracie Bethmann. Services: Memorial Service at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, at First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem, 2344 Center St., Bethlehem, 18017, where friends may call from Noon until time of services. Arrangements entrusted to the Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
