My memories of "Lums" go back to when I delivered the newspaper to her parents' house on Jerome Ave. The kitchen would brighten up when the Taylors came to visit. I am so happy to have been re-united with Sonny and Lums at Aunt Beat's picnics. I learned that it was my Dad who gave her nickname, and that she was a classmate of my Mom at NFA. She filled in a lot of family lore, and of course we chatted about the Red Sox. She was always a bright and cheerful "lady" as others have described. We'll miss her. Our sincere condolences to all of the family.

No words can explain what Agnes meant to me in our hearts always!!!

I am so sorry to hear about "Lum's" passing. I had the pleasure of befriending her at one of the many Benson/Elliott reunions. Although she was unable to attend the past few, when she spoke to Bea she often asked about me. She was the perfect example of a gracious lady. RIP and may your soul be at peace now!
