My memories of "Lums" go back to when I delivered the newspaper to her parents' house on Jerome Ave. The kitchen would brighten up when the Taylors came to visit. I am so happy to have been re-united with Sonny and Lums at Aunt Beat's picnics. I learned that it was my Dad who gave her nickname, and that she was a classmate of my Mom at NFA. She filled in a lot of family lore, and of course we chatted about the Red Sox. She was always a bright and cheerful "lady" as others have described. We'll miss her. Our sincere condolences to all of the family.
No words can explain what Agnes meant to me in our hearts always!!!

I had the privilege of knowing Agnes, her late husband Al and the rest of the Taylor family for most of my life. Agnes will always be remembered for her kindness, delightful personality, and her love for her family. A genuine "Fair Lady".

Violetta and I are so sorry to lose Agnes. We were blessed to have her as our neighbor and friend for over fifteen years. An amazing woman with a great attitude and a warm and welcoming heart she will be greatly missed by many. Our sincere condolences to her family on their loss. The Red Sox should be mourning the passing of one of their greatest fans ever.Sincerely Ted and Violetta Moyer

I am so sorry to hear about "Lum's" passing. I had the pleasure of befriending her at one of the many Benson/Elliott reunions. Although she was unable to attend the past few, when she spoke to Bea she often asked about me. She was the perfect example of a gracious lady. RIP and may your soul be at peace now!
